Questions, answered.

How long does setup take?
About 8 minutes. Sign up → verify email → add a company → upload employee list (CSV) or add manually → install the kiosk app on a tablet at your entrance → done. The face enrollment takes ~30 seconds per employee, done once.
What hardware do I need for the kiosk?
Any Android tablet (8" or larger) with a working front camera and Wi-Fi. A ₹12,000 Lenovo Tab works fine. Mount it at the entrance with a tablet stand. One tablet per entry/exit point.
Does the kiosk work without internet?
Yes. The kiosk app stores attendance locally and syncs to the cloud when network is available. You won't lose data during outages — the app handles intermittent connectivity gracefully.
Can employees punch in for each other?
No. The face-recognition system uses a liveness check that requires actual presence — you can't fool it with a photo on a phone screen or a printed image. Each employee's face is enrolled with multiple angles and lighting conditions during setup.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major methods via Razorpay: credit/debit cards, UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm), net banking, and digital wallets. For Enterprise customers, we also offer bank transfer with annual invoicing. GST invoices issued automatically (HSN 998314, 18% GST).
I run multiple companies. How does billing work?
One subscription covers all your companies. Plan limits (e.g. "up to 250 employees") apply across the org, summed across all your companies. So if you have a 100-person and an 80-person company, that's 180 employees against your cap. You pay once, not twice. This is unusual — most HRMS platforms (Keka, Pocket, Zoho) charge you per company.
Can I import data from my existing HR tool?
Yes — we accept CSV imports for employees, attendance history, leave balances, and salary structures. We've imported from Keka, Zoho People, greytHR, and plain Excel sheets. Email support@bizlumoai.com and we'll do the migration for you (free for paid plans).
What happens if my trial expires?
Your account goes read-only — you can still view all your data, but new entries (attendance, payroll, expenses) are blocked. We don't delete anything. Upgrade any time and full access is restored automatically — usually within seconds of payment confirmation.
Is my employees' face data safe?
We never store raw face images on our servers. The kiosk converts each face into a numerical embedding (a 128-dimension vector) and only that hash is transmitted and stored. The hash can't be reversed back into a face image. Encrypted at rest with AES-256. Hosted in Mumbai (AWS ap-south-1) — never leaves Indian jurisdiction.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — self-serve from inside your dashboard. You retain access until the end of your current billing period (no immediate cutoff). After that, your data is preserved for 90 days in case you want to come back, then deleted per our retention policy.
